The official app works as a hub for following the tournament on your phone. It is available for free on iOS and Android.
As soon as you open it, you find information about matches, results, news, and other content related to rugby.
It is also possible to follow content related to the Women’s Six Nations and the Under 20s Six Nations.
To get the most out of the app, it is worth starting by:
- Exploring the schedule to learn about upcoming matchups.
- Checking the standings and results.
- Activating important notifications.
- Getting to know the Match Centre.
- Taking a look at Fantasy Rugby.
Standings, Statistics, and Schedule Always at Hand
Want to know who is leading the championship or when the next game will be?
The Six Nations app brings this information directly into the application.
The schedule allows you to check dates, matches, and results, making it easier to follow the competition.
| Feature | What you can follow |
|---|---|
| Schedule | Upcoming matches and dates |
| Results | Matches already played |
| Standings | Position of the teams |
| Statistics | Team and player data |
| Profiles | Information about the athletes |
This is especially useful during a busy round.
Instead of searching for each piece of information, you find the main Six Nations data in the same place.
Match Centre: Follow every Match in Detail
Here is one of the most interesting features for those who cannot watch the entire game.
The Match Centre follows the match in real time and updates the main information about the matchup.
What appears during the match?
- Updated score
- Main events
- Match statistics
- Team information
- Player related data
- Additional content
The feature can also present Tryzone IQ, with insights into important moments from some matches.
In other words, even away from the television, you can follow what is happening.
It’s that famous “I can’t watch right now, but I need to know what’s happening” situation!
Six Nations on your Phone: Features that Make a Difference
One of the positive points of the Six Nations apps is precisely the amount of information gathered in a single application.
The experience goes beyond simply showing who won or lost.
You can find games, statistics, news, videos, and Fantasy Rugby in the same environment.
This can be especially useful for those who follow several matches during the championship.
Another interesting detail is that the app also brings together content from different competitions.
That way, you are not limited only to the main men’s competition.
The idea is to turn your phone into a stand companion throughout the entire competition.
Get to Know the Players and Compare their Performances
Want to discover who is having a good run of form before building your team?
The Six Nations player profiles help with this task.
You can check player information and follow data related to their performance during the competition.
This also creates an interesting connection with Fantasy Rugby. It is worth looking at:
- Individual performance
- Player statistics
- Team information
- Participation in matches
- Development throughout the tournament
You don’t need to become a numbers expert to take advantage of this feature.
Sometimes, comparing a few pieces of data is already enough to see beyond the famous name.
News, Videos, and Content for Rugby Fans
The app also works as a content source for those who want to follow the tournament between one match and another.
The app brings together news, videos, interviews, highlights, and other materials related to rugby. The content can include:
- Team news
- Interviews with players
- Match highlights
- Videos about the tournament
- Analysis and special content
- Behind the scenes information
This makes the app more interesting for those who do not want to follow only scores.
Because, let’s be honest, rugby doesn’t happen only during those 80 minutes!
Personalized Alerts to Follow what Matters
You cannot always keep opening the app throughout the day.
That’s why personalized notifications are a very useful feature of the Six Nations app.
They help you receive important information without having to search for it manually. You can use notifications to:
- Know when a match is about to start.
- Follow important moments.
- Check results.
- Receive updates during games.
- Keep an eye on the teams you follow most.
The secret is to activate only what really matters.
Otherwise, your phone may start narrating the entire championship while you are trying to work.
Fantasy Rugby: Build your Team and Test your Strategies
And we have reached the part that can make the Six Nations even more fun.
The official app also offers Fantasy Rugby, allowing you to build a virtual team.
You need to follow some rules when choosing the players.
These include the available budget and the limit of players per team.
- Look at the players’ recent performance.
- Analyze upcoming matchups.
- Check who is being selected the most.
- Think carefully before choosing the captain.
- Take advantage of transfers when it makes sense.
The idea is not simply to put all the stars on the same team.
You need to think about the balance of the squad and the scoring opportunities.
For those who like rugby and also enjoy competition, Fantasy makes every match even more interesting.
Conclusion
In the end, Six Nations manages to bring together information, entertainment, and strategy in a single app.
You can follow the schedule, check statistics, receive alerts, and even build your own team.
For devoted tournament fans, this combination makes the app a very complete tool for following every round.
And let’s be honest: having rugby, statistics, and Fantasy together makes it harder to miss anything!
